In order to study in Hungary, you must meet certain entry requirements such as:

– Bachelor degree for Master programs:
– Proof of Hungarian or English language proficiency depending on the language you will study in.
– Entrance exam:
For specific courses in Hungary, you will be required to take an entrance exam.
In order to study in Hungary, you must meet the minimum average English language score that schools in Hungary ask for.
– For Bachelor degrees:
- Between 5.0 – 6.0 for the IELTS test.
- Between 60 – 80 for the TOEFL test.

Working in Hungary
Any international student, who is more than 16 years old, can work as a student worker with the same least age and assured minimum wage rules.
The duration of the casual work is mentioned in the law and is upon the calendar year, month, or day.
The sum of the workdays should not be more than 90 days within one year and 15 days within one month.
English is required to work in Hungary as the most of the companies’ interviews with the international candidates in English.
International students who will study in Hungary for more than 90 days and who are not EU students are required to apply for a long-term student visa.
Documents required for the student visa are:

– Acceptance letter.
– Passport “valid for 6 months beyond the date of entry”.
