California State University, San Bernardino, CSUSB is excited to tell you about our brand-new Presidential Nonresident Scholarship, which CSUSB’s president recently approved for international students. Please keep reading for details on the scholarship’s selection criteria and awards.
Selection Criteria and Award Details
The Presidential Nonresident Scholarship will be awarded to applicants who have a GPA of 3.8 or to first-year CSUSB students who earn a 3.8 GPA after their first term at CSUSB. Recipients must also meet one of the following requirements:
- The student is a non-resident in the state of California for fee assessment and is enrolled as a matriculated undergraduate student in a course of study of no fewer than twelve (12) semester or quarter units. Undergraduate scholarship recipients will receive $4,500 per academic year.
- The student is a non-resident in the state of California for fee assessment and is enrolled as a matriculated graduate student in a course of study of no fewer than eight (8) semester or quarter units. Graduate scholarship recipients will receive $3,000 per academic year.
Recipients may receive this scholarship for a period of four (4) years for first-time freshmen and two (2) years for upper-division transfer and graduate students, provided they maintain full-time status and a minimum GPA of 3.8.
