‘Texas Wesleyan University is partnering with a number of Caribbean-based medical schools for direct admission into the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. Graduates from these programs will be qualified for licensure in all U.S. states (with the exception in some cases of California, within which licensure would be limited to federally-administered institutions).
THE MCAT SCORE IS WAIVED FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THIS PROGRAM
Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA overall at Texas Wesleyan University throughout the Pre-Medicine program, and may choose from a list of Caribbean-based partner schools, pending finalization. Participating schools will furthermore offer an additional $1000 USD minimum scholarship for participants once enrolled in the MD program.
Admission Requirements
High/secondary school results GPA of 2.50 or higher and University results (if any)
TOEFL 68 IBT+ or IELTS 5.0+, English medium school or native speaker, English O and/or A-level results or secondary school, unless attending ESL first
